Do we use 'Cookies' ?
'Cookies' are small files stored on a computer which contain information placed there by web-sites that computer user has visited. ksfiomdepositors.org uses session cookies to ensure that you can interact with our web sites successfully. However, we do not store sensitive information in cookies, and we do not attempt to access cookies which may have been stored on the user's computer by web-sites other than those operated by ourselves.
How do we protect personal information?
We use a secure third party services provider when you make a donation via our website. We also take appropriate measures to ensure that the information disclosed to us is kept secure, accurate and up to date and kept only for so long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is used.
Will we disclose the information we collect to any other party?
In general we do not share your information with external organisations, individuals nor other users of our websites unless required to do so by law. Important exceptions - please note:
Some basic and non-sensitive information is made visible to other site users. This information includes your registration date, your subscription expiry date (if applicable), your status as a depositor or non-depositor (if specified) and a list of which groups you have joined on the site. Other non-sensitive information may similarly be displayed to other site users if specified by you, for example your chosen "About me" text.
Any information you choose to provide in a forum post or comment is visible to other site users, potentially to the public in general.
If you choose to send a message to another website user via the contact feature provided, your user name and registered email address are automatically disclosed to that person, but no other information is disclosed other than what you choose to provide in any such message.
If you choose to write directly to any email address posted on our sites, then all such communication is entirely outside of the scope of this privacy statement.

For example, if email were sent to a Google (gmail) mail account, then effectively Google would have been provided with all information included in the relevant email message.
By providing us with your personal data, including any sensitive personal data, you consent to the collection and use of any information you provide in accordance with the above purposes and this privacy statement.
You also consent to possible transferring of your information to countries or jurisdictions which do not provide the same level of data protection as the UK, if necessary for the above purposes.
