We note with interest that the Isle of Man has recently promoted its financial credentials and in particular its robust financial stability in a newsletter published in February 2009 and promoted in the media:

HERE is a list of Tynwald members with addresses, pohone numbers and some email addresses.

The DCS was originally created in 1991.
In 2008 it was modified following the failure of KSFIOM.

Tynwald had been considering changing the DCS for some time and the FSC produced a paper
"Consultation with all banking licenceholders on
options for change to the Isle of Man’s
Depositors’ Compensation Scheme"
